Arroz con Spam

Description: A twist on the more traditional Latino dish Arroz con Gandules that uses diced Spam instead of pigeon peas.

4 tbsps Vegetable Oil

1 can Spam, in small cubes

1 tbsp Garlic Powder

1 tbsp Onion Powder

1 tbsp Adobo Seasoning

1 tbsp Salt

1 tbsp Oregano, dried

1 packet Sazon Seasoning

8 oz Tomato Sauce

2 cups White Rice

2 cups Water

In a large pot heat the oil and toss in the diced Spam. Cook a minute or two and then throw in the remaining ingredients
minus the rice. Once it comes to a boil add the rice and stir to ensure there isn't any clumping. After 3 minutes, reduce to a simmer and cover. Cook for another 20 minutes until rice is tender.
