Description: My mother got this recipe from a friend years ago and passed it on to me. I've been making this for the fam for years (with a couple of modifications, of course). This has become my most requested dessert.

Batter

1 box Yellow Cake Mix

1 box Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix

1 cup Sour Cream

1 cup Vegetable Oil

Eggs

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Filling

1 cup Sugar

1 cup Pecans, chopped

1 tbsp Cocoa Powder

1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon

1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

BATTER
Put all of the ingredients into a large bowl and beat with a mixer (or if you're feeling a bit sado-masachistic, with a wooden spoon) until no longer lumpy.

FILLING
Mix all of the ingredients together in a small bowl until you have a moist, crumbly 'mess'.

ASSEMBLY
In a buttered bundt pan, add half of the batter, top with half of the filling, then rest of the batter, and rest of the filling. With the back of a spoon, pat the filling onto the top of the batter.

Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 45-55 minutes (depending on your oven) until an inserted knife comes out dry.

I could go on and on about how terrific this cake is - I have made it so many times, and no matter who I make it for it is always a hit. It is so moist it melts in your mouth. You also get a little bit of filling in every bite which makes it taste so fantastic!!
