Directions
Begin by heating the oil in a large pot and adding the onions. Once the onions turn translucent, add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
In the meantime, dredge the cubed beef in the flour and add to the onions and garlic. Brown the beef (about 5-10 minutes) and then add the spices. Once the spices are incorporated, add the crushed tomatoes and bring to a boil. Cover and cook on low heat for 90 minutes (to tenderize the beef) stirring every half hour or so.
At the very end, toss in the peas and carrots and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve over a bed of egg noodles.
