Description: This is a simple shrimp dish that has the added complexity that comes from the kokum. Easy to throw together for a dish that is far from your everyday food. Note: substitute tamarind paste for the kokum if you can't find it and get a similar flavor.
Heat oil in a pot and add the garlic, coriander, cayenne, and turmeric. Cook together for a minute until fragrant. Add water and kokum and bring to a simmer. Add the shrimp and cook the shrimp until done (no longer translucent).
