Description: One of my favorite dishes to order when I get Chinese take-out is Sesame Chicken. Now I can just stay at home and enjoy a home-cooked version. This is better than most of the Sesame Chicken that I've had. Try it and see for yourself.

Chicken Breast, boneless, skinless

Eggs

2 cups All-Purpose Flour

Sauce

1 cup Light Soy Sauce

1 cup Honey

2 cups Water

1/4 cup Corn Starch

1 tbsp Ground Ginger

1 tbsp Red Pepper Flakes, (adjust for heat)

1/4 cup Sesame Seeds, toasted

Mix together the honey, soy sauce, water, corn starch, ginger and red pepper flakes and whisk until there are no corn starch lumps. Set aside.

Cut the chicken breast into bite size pieces, dip in beaten egg, and dredge in flour.

Heat oil in a large skillet and cook the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes or until browned. Pour in sauce and cook until sauce starts to thicken.

Sprinkle in the sesame seeds, stir, cover and simmer for 10 more minutes.

I am not a big sesame seed person, and I never order this dish but I decided to be adventurous and make this for some friends. It was great... so much flavor. It looked and tasted authentic.
