Sesame Chicken

One of my favorite dishes to order when I get Chinese take-out is Sesame Chicken. Now I can just stay at home and enjoy a home-cooked version. This is better than most of the Sesame Chicken that I've had. Try it and see for yourself.

Mix together the honey, soy sauce, water, corn starch, ginger and red pepper flakes and whisk until there are no corn starch lumps. Set aside.

Cut the chicken breast into bite size pieces, dip in beaten egg, and dredge in flour.

Heat oil in a large skillet and cook the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes or until browned. Pour in sauce and cook until sauce starts to thicken.

Sprinkle in the sesame seeds, stir, cover and simmer for 10 more minutes.
