Description: My mother has used this rub for the Thanksgiving Turkey for my entire life and to this day I haven't had a turkey as tasty as the one I have every year on Thanksgiving... this is also a great rub for pork shoulder.

The ingredients are per pound of whatever bird you are cooking.

1 clove Garlic, (more if desired)

1 tsp Adobo Seasoning

1/2 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper

1/4 tsp Dried Oregano

1 1/2 tsps Olive Oil

1/2 tsp White Wine Vinegar

1 packet Sazon with Achiote, per 7lbs (optional)

1. Multiply each measurement by the weight (in pounds) of whatever bird you're cooking and place the required amount of each ingredient in a blender.

2. Blend together adding more oil if needed to get a slow, but constantly moving, consistency.

3. Rub all over and inside your favorite bird.

Highly recommended on turkey and chicken.

This is really good. My mom always makes an amazing Thanksgiving Turkey and after trying this I think she must use a very similar recipe. This is a winner!
