Daikon Radish with Chicken

Description: This is a tasty preparation for a Daikon

1/2 Daikon, cut into 1/4" thick half moons

6 ounces Chicken Breast, cut into 1" cubes

1 Tbsp Canola Oil, Can use any neutural oil

1 clove Garlic, Crushed

2 cups Beef Broth

2 Tbs Soy Sauce

2 Tbs Sake, Can substitue white wine or Vermouth

1/4 tsp Mirin, (optional, but this adds a nice flavor)

1 tsp Roasted Sesame Seed Oil

 Kosher Salt, to taste

Prepare ingredients. Heat the canola oil in a pot and add chicken, daikon and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes then add liquid ingredients (except sesame seed oil). Cook stirring frequently and skimming surface until sauce is nearly evaporated. Add roasted sesame seed oil and serve!
