Description: Delicious marinated grilled meat. This is one of the best things to eat at Korean restaurants, as it is often grilled at the table. This very simple recipe can be made at home with surprisingly little effort.

1 lb. Beef, Choose a lean cut. Cut into thin slices (1/4

1 Tbsp Sugar

2 Tbsps Soy Sauce

1/2 tsp Mirin, or substitue white wine

1 clove Garlic, crushed

Green Onions, finely sliced

1 tsp Sesame Seeds

1/4 tsp Roasted Sesame Seed Oil

 Black Pepper, to taste

Prep:
in a bowl, mix slices of beef with sugar and let sit for 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and let marinate for up to 2 hours (but not less than 30 minutes).

Cooking (grill):
Grill the slices over a fire for about 1 minute per side. They should be slightly pink in the center.

Cooking (oven):
broil (400+ degrees) for about 1 minute per side.

Serving: Serve with white rice and kimchi
