This is one of my favorite poems of all time... it should give you an idea of my personality...

One bright day in the middle of the night
Two dead boys got up to fight.
Back to back they faced each other
Drew their swords and shot each other.
A Deaf policeman heard the noise.
He came and shot the two dead boys.
If you don't believe this lie is true
Just ask the blind man, he saw it too!

I'm always annoyed when recipes call for marinading the meat and then you simply discard the marinade - this seems like such a waste. I wanted to create a recipe where the marinade could work double duty. Here's what a came up with... The steak sauce is REALLY good!!! Click to view more...

Beef Goulash
Beef Goulash is the national dish of Hungary. Though I don't think the peas and carrots are traditional, I hope that addition still makes all you Hungarians out there proud. Click to view more...

Every wedding I ever went to as a kid had a Dominican Cake as its centerpiece and I took for granted how great these cakes were until I got older and wedding cakes were your typical American wedding cakes that kind of taste like styrofoam. I've tried for years to find a recipe for Bizcocho Domimicano that could match the ones I had as a child... This one comes pretty close. Click to view more...
Surullos are classic Puerto Rican appetizers that bring back great memories from my childhood. Traditionally, it's made without the sugar and stuffed with cheese - American or Dutch (such as Gouda) are the most common. However, my mother loves sweets so we always made it without the cheese and added sugar to the mix. These are great for breakfast. Click to view more...
5C's Supreme... I was reading an article on the creation and evolution of the chocolate chip cookie and that got me thinking about trying to create my own variation of this timeless classic. The hint of cinnamon really sets it apart from other double chocolate chip cookies. Click to view more...
The best way to describe this kulfi is that it is an Indian version of an Italian gelato. It is very dense and creamy with great flavor. It's perfect after a big meal since just a little bit goes a very, very long way. Click to view more...

Carrot Cake
This is the last carrot cake recipe I'll ever need to try. A nice, subtle hint of nutmeg and cloves. Super moist. Wonderful texture. I think I've found perfection. Click to view more...
